HEPA aint cheap but it sho is necessary July 27, 2010

Best price I could find for a HEPA filter for my Whirlpool Air Cleaner. Product works as expected; no complaints.
Where I live, a good air filter is necessary, it is worth every penny to keep my air clean a pure.

This product arrived in a few days. It was packed in a larger box to protect it during shipping. Unwrapped the protective plastic and placed it right into our Whirlpool air cleaner. Our unit was an older model air purifier and this filter was suggested as the replacement, it fit perfectly. We did not realize how dirty the filter was until we matched it with the new one. This filter cost a little more than the after market replacement, which I believe is not as sturdy. Amazon had the best price on the internet and it included free shipping.
My favorite air filter - AP510 June 18, 2010

This filter works great in my Whispure AP510. I've used many air filters and the AP510 unit is my favorite... well built and well designed. Too bad there is no carbon filter (I believe it was discontinued).
Interesting note I found on the web - "The Whirlpool air cleaners have been in short supply and subject to significant retail price markup during 2009. Production is set to resume in the spring of 2010."
Compared to the cost of other high-quality air filters, I think the filter costs are reasonable and am glad I can buy them on Amazon.

It's a decent filter. If you bought the HEPA unit itself, you're probably aiming for good air quality. I've had this unit for 2 years now. I have very bad seasonal allergies, and this unit helped me a good bit. Make sure you consider the square footage of the area you're filtering. On the downside, you need to shell out 70-80 every year on a HEPA filter.
